Red Mangrove

Post by MrGrumpyGills »

I'm curious to whether the Red mangrove would be a good addition to the Supershrimp tank?

I have a 20L tank with Arganite sand. Sponge filter. Heated to 78*F Sanility 0.010 to 0.012.

Aside from the fact that the red mangrove will be way too big eventually for most tanks out there, I don't see any reason why it should not grow in a shrimp tank aside from the fact that Opae tanks are on purpose very low in nutrients (you only feed once every two weeks or so) and that low level of nutrients may not be able to keep a mangrove alive and thriving.
