Do the supershrimp eat the macroalgae? I need to know
So do the shrimp eat the macroalgae from the shrimp shop or is it just for bacteria? I did find another site with plants that the shrimp eat but I'd like to keep the bacteria the same as much as possible.

I have not seen my shrimp eat the macroalgae. They scour the tank sides and substrate for the green algae growing there, and sometimes invert themselves to check out the biofilm on top of the water. I have green algae growing on the macroalgae, but I've not observed the shrimp 'picking' at it like they do on the sides and substrate.

The shrimp do not eat the algae. At least live algae. The moss you are looking may not survive in brackish and may in large volume crash your tank.

Not sure it would crash, but the site were I found the moss has them in their supershrimp tanks thanks though, I might just get some pre algae cultured rocks instead...
