Clarification needed on salinity
I've read many different things about salinity. One Opae Ula site states that the Opae should be kept at 1.005 to 1.010. Another says that 1.016 is ideal for breeding. Both my tanks are now at 1.014. I'm wondering if anyone has any scientific clarification for the ideal tank. I know that Opae can live and survive in a very broad range of salinity, going al the way to full ocean water. But I am wondering if there is an ideal level for an aquarium.

Re: Clarification needed on salinity
Good question Harry. I keep mine between 1.009-1.011. I bet the salinity for breeding is wide but larvae will have greater survival at a narrower range.
