There are a lot of plants actually, but I don't think it is java moss. More than likely it is Hygrophilia polysperma you are thinking about.

plant confiscated from us dept. of agric.

Post by kahunabill »

i was sent some plants from a friend in singapore.

but what I got was an empty package that the us dept. of ag. opened up and confiscated. They said that the plant in question was a small fern plant, but decided to take and destroy it.

I just hope that's what itwas, otherwise, someone in the us. dept. of agric. got them one great plant.

I'm afriad to post what it was, but it was w*llow moss, which I don't think is on the IPL or blacklist of plants here in CA.

who knows. maybe someone in the dept. is also in the plant hobby?
