RCS water changes

Hello still having problems with the adults on water changes. Since my last post a lot of baby shrimps are growing in the tank but every water change I get about 2 dying in the following days that means my very redder adults are being lost. The young ones seem fine, I just wanted the more red ones to put their colour into the gene pool. I am going to try one more thing and that is mix the declorinator in the bucket and fill it from that instead of straight from tap and mix in the tank so it will be new diluted when it initially goes in.

Good idea...I always tell people to mix in the dechlorinator with the water outside the tank (and wait about 10 minutes for it to completely work). It doesn't hurt to double dose, too.
