Awesome fairy shrimp. Seems like there are tons of species where you live. The endangered San Diego fairy shrimp Branchinecta sandiegonensis lives literally next door to my house and is the only fairy shrimp I have seen in habitat. It would be interesting to find out experimentally if any of these freshwater fairy shrimp could be bred continuously without having to die off (and the eggs dry out).

I really want to keep an ongoing culture of seed shrimp. Does anybody have advice on how to do that?

This is all quite fascinating! Glad to see it seems I'm not the only one who feels this way, I'd love to hear more about how all this turned out, and perhaps some Triops pics or something of the sort :-D
