This tank is doing amazing! It continues to reproduce non stop! I always have at least one or two berried females at a time, and floating Larvae. The Larvae are all surviving and turning bentic. Just a joy to watch!
No hair algae problems, both mustafa's and the original marimo ball are also doing great. I have one nerite on the tank.
The hermit and the other nerite have been moved to help Cleaning up the 10g tank.
Because of the previous issues with these tanks, I am still running a filter in each with purigen and chemi pure elite. It's been a God send for my tanks.

Hmm...I'm sure it helped to get rid of the organic pollution after you basically overfed in beginning, but I'd say it may be just way past time to get rid of the filters...at least in one tank (to convince yourself it's ok before you do it in the others, tooCarolina wrote:

). Seems like you're doing ok, all I'm saying I'm pretty sure it's not due to the filters...it's most likely because you're not feeding and your tanks have found their biological balance.
