Macroalgae turning dark green?

Post by Munakgirl »

So when I got my macroaglae it was kind of a light green. But I noticed this last week it has been getting darker and darker. I will try to get a pic of it tomorrow.

No shrimp yet just snails, and finally have a bunch of algae growth. Just wondering if the macroaglae turning green was anything to worry about... it's not dieing I hope... I really want it to grow more I love the added color it gives.

I'm pretty sure the color changes based on light exposure, and pieces that die off tend to turn pale or white not dark green, so you shouldn't have to worry about anything.
