Orange worm in tank

Post by aqualake »

I just saw an orange centipede looking thing about 1 centimeter long crawling on a rock in my tank. He crawled inside the rock. I googled it and looks like a bristle worm. But not sure. Will this thing eat my shrimp?

Unable to get a pic. It hides inside the rocks. Have only seen it once. Probably only comes out at night. Not sure exactly what it is.

If you used live rock or live sand (which I don't recommend for many reasons) it probably is a bristleworm. But yes, pics would help.
