Hi everyone. I have a six week old tank that is still technically cycling. I have 10 snails and one clump of macroalgea from Mustafa in there. No algea growth of my own tho, so I felt bad for the snails and put it in like 1/50th of a tiny spoon of spirulina powder. Well, even that proved too much as I see it just sitting around my tank. My snails zoom around, I usually see like 5-6 at a time. Do I have to do a full water change here to get these little pellet things out of my water? Will it upset my ecosystem. I know feeding is a bad idea but I felt bad for my snails.

The snails will probably be ok. They are tough, and if they are really unhappy you will see them start to move above the water line en masse to escape bad conditions.

HEY GUYS
IM HERE TO FREAK OUT MORE.
So I took your advices and left it be, well today I noticed a snail close to the water line. My ammonia kit is STILL not here, so I decided to just do a water change/spot clean. So I cleaned and it was difficult in such a little tank, basically just scooping out some sand with my tank spoon and then replacing the water (lowered the salinity quite a bit, think it’s at 1.010 or 11ppt now). My snails were having an absolute riot, they were running around the tank and obviously kinda flying around while I cleaned up, felt really bad there. But all peace has been returned and I currently count five active snails. Hope the rest can unbury themselves. I really want to add my shrimp at this point, but really want to wait until I can check my ammonia since I still have no algea.
Ok so QUESTIONS:
My macroalgea turned white a couple minutes after all my agitation. Is it ok? I included a picture.
Will my water change affect my algea growth/wait time?? Am I still OK to add my shrimp after I get my ammonia kit (should be tomorrow).

It looks like some sand got stuck to your macroalgae, maybe from the snail mucus that was on it. I wouldn't worry about it.
As long as you replaced the water you removed with new half-strength saltwater it should be ok.

Also a few snails near the water line doesn't mean there is a problem with the water, note Super Jess was referring to them going above the water line in large numbers.

And you don't need or want an ammonia test kit...it really is useless in Supershrimp tanks. At best it will just freak you out more. Just leave the tank alone...and don't feed spirulina powder..it's really hard to dose and easy to overdose.
