Hi all,
Are there any other common names for green or black shrimp?
What are black shrimp anyway? Could they be bumble bee shrimp?
Thanks,

Hi,
green shrimps are also called green neon shrimps.
I don't know if there are black bumble bee shrimps but there are black tiger shrimps. You can see pictures
here .

I purchased some "black algae eating shrimp" and the concensus is that they are actually green shrimp - Caridina cf. babaulti spp. 'green'.
