Total beginner here but looking forward to starting my first tank! I plan on buying all the equipment (except the tank itself) from this site - substrate, macroalgae, snails, shrimp, etc.
The new setup guide indicates that I should leave my new tank cycling for 2-4 weeks until algae grows. To confirm, I should only purchase the shrimp once my tank has finished cycling, so that they can be introduced immediately upon arrival?
And since snails should be introduced after 1-2 weeks, should I place a separate order for those and then another for the shrimp after algae shows up? Any guidance on what can be purchased together would be much appreciated!

Yes, it is always best to wait. Also, algae may not show up in four weeks time but add the shrimp anyways. You can place one order and add everything at the same time if you would like or add snails and macroalgae after a week or two. Your choice.
