Appears I cannot find any past discussion about using SaltyShrimp brand of minerals. I bought the Bee Shrimp one after seeing all the great comments on Amazon such as “It's easy to see why SaltyShrimp is the number one recommended remineralizer in the US.”
I’m going to try it out in my freshwater tank first. Let me know if anyone’s used it for their Opae Ula tanks.
Those products are made for freshwater shrimp. There is no reason to use them with Opaes as long as a proper sea salt is used when setting up the tank. In fact, it would probably be detrimental to use them.
Got it. Good to know. I saw people liked the product for freshwater non-shrimp tanks so will try it out in my freshwater tank since I have a nitrate problem with my tap water as I have now tested so will need to use distilled water to perform a 50% water change and remineralize.
Was just wondering if everyone remineralizes their opae ula tanks too. Thank you for the confirmation
