You could always put a pile of lava rock in there to provide more hiding places and visual interest.

I echo the suggestion about piling up some lava rocks. I've seen that the shrimp really appreciate being able to get under or into something to fully hide. They'll have less stress and, who knows, maybe that will result in more breeding!
