plant fertilizer, is it safe for ghost shrimp?

Post by Dolfan »

I recently bought some Kent "Freshwater Plant Micronutrient Supplement with Iron". I want to use it for my tank that currently has Anachris growing in it and a few ghost shrimp. Everything seems pretty safe about it except for one thing...on the side label where it says "Guaranteed Analysis" and it lists the percentages of stuff, it has Copper- .00001%. I know that copper is bad for inverts but is this enough to matter? Seems like a small amount to me. Is this ok for my ghost shrimp, I hope to breed them eventually, if I'm lucky enough. If this plant fertilizer isn't ok, are their any suggestions on a good, safe, plant fertilizer that doesn't contain copper, and doesn't hurt shrimp?
