I started my tank, I'm undecided whether to leave the filter? What do you recommend?

Change the substrate as well. Is lapillus an active substrate? Either way not an ideal one IMO.

The lapillus is Crushed lava stone, it is not active

I do not see a calcium source in the tank, unless the mixed quartz is. It is needed for buffering. A chunk of cuttle bone works well as do crushed egg shells.

Why? I always use a calcium source in all 13 of my tanks and they are healthy and actively breeding. It is recommended by Mustafa.
