Brackish water plants?

Post by mikiec9317 »

I'm just looking for some live plants to give my shrimp places to hide and that they will enjoy. Any suggestions?

I came across these mangrove plants. I was thinking of putting 1 or 2 in there so they grew out of the top. I thought the shrimp may like hanging out in the root structure. Had anyone tried that?

Best places for these shrimp to hide are lava rocks. I've seen other use mangrove and it worked well for them.

Do be aware that mangroves are trees that live under full sun and not little aquarium plants. They may grow out-of-hand rather quickly. :D
