Something like this. Shrimp have times were they sleep, they like to sleep in darker moonlight light. Also having no place to hide is probably stressful. Just a small house or something. I have a Tardis and a Castle. They like the castle in my tank it is covered with Algae. It is hard to find them now because they love to sleep and graze on the algae that is right outside their castle. I have one shrimp out of my three who loves the Tardis and every night he does his rounds and ride the bubbles in the Tardis. I named him 11 after the 11th Doctors from Doctor Who. The other two are Amy and Rory.

That is a video of my 11 coming out of his small bottle to check out his new tank.

I am not sure if I should take out the two dead shrimpies in my tank - I’d like to avoid more casualties if the bodies are causing ammonia spikes, but I also don’t want to stress these fragile remaining guys out unnecessarily. They ate the first couple of dead ones shortly after they died but they haven’t eaten these ones yet. Normally I’d leave them for the others to eat but I don’t want any more issues. Should I remove them and/or do a water change? Or let nature run it’s course? There are 8 healthy (it seems anyway!), 1 sick, 2 dead. As a side note I bought a plexiglass sheet that will fully cover the tank (my current one has some openings) in case whatever caused this is coming from the air - hopefully that will help! Any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated 🙂
