I just saw my Pearl shrimp eating a Neon tetra "alive" a while ago !
It happened when I switch-on the light to check the shrimps.
That might have 'trigger' something in the pearl shrimp for I saw one running away.
While the other Pearl shrimp had a 'live' neon struggling in it's mouth !
The Neon tetra must be asleep.
That must be why it settled at the botton of the tank.
Or maybe my CO2 make them drowsy ?
I guess pearl shrimp are aggressive hunter after all !
Does this happen to anyone before ? Any advice ?

Yes i agree that peral shrimp do have that instinct to attack since you could see their little pincer.
But healthy fish will not be attack.
Peral shrimp is not one of my prefer shrimp.
Have know afew cases from hobbists that their peral shrimps do attacked smaller or weaker fishes.
Thanks
