I just wanted to say, thanks for the baby cherry shrimp. They actually survived. One of my neighbors brought it to my door. (Stupid Post Office)
If anyone EVER wants baby cherries ~ Here is the place to buy them :)

Great , Super, packaging, breathable bags :)

Hey Marge :)!

Javagirl is so excited because apparently the post office delivered the box to one of her neighbors on *Monday*, but they were sitting at her neighbors' until yesterday. Since I had sent out the shrimp last Saturday, the little guys were in the box for 6 days!

It's situations like these that confirm that careful packaging is so important. I'd rather save every single shrimp's live than take for granted that a couple shrimp always die in transit, which some people out there actually claim to be normal even with next day delivery...hence you frequently see: "I will add some extras for losses in transit" when people try to sell shrimp online.

If people 1. put more time and effort into packaging the shrimp properly and 2. put healthy shrimp in the bags to begin with, then there would be no deaths even if things go wrong as in this case.

I am glad things worked out Javagirl. Thanks for the hugs and kisses. :D

Hi Mustafa,

Do you not put "Live Animals" sticker on the box?
I Surprised the neighbor held on to them for so long if they had known.

Hi TKD,

No I did not put a "live animal" sticker on the box. I usually don't, because I want to avoid someone at the post office who does not know about their own regulations (which state that you can send cold-blooded animals through USPS) to cause any problems. A lot of the USPS workers know the regulations but a lot of them don't. Just too much hassle to deal with them.

I usually don't have problems with packages arriving at neighbors anyway. This is the first time that something like this happened and I've sent out thousands of shrimp.

Dear Javagirl and Mustafa,

Wow ! I can feel the joy you feel ! :D Really curious to see Mustafa's shrimp and packaging, but unfortunately my home is not in the U.S.A.

He he he, you thank that is bad? The wallpaper on my work is a smiley face holding a sniper rifle. Instead of just having the one little picture in the center, I had it tiled so there must be 500 of them on my wallpaper!!!! It keeps people from trying to get on my profile. :)
