What kind of shrimp do I have?

Greetings,

I bought some unmarked shrimp at an aquarium store. They look like ghost shrimp but don't have red bands on the antenna or off white spots. Also, It has a extremely long pair of legs with claws on the end. In 8 months it has gotten to be three and a half-four inches long (?). What is it,
what does it eat, and do I keep it.

Sounds like any one of several Macrobrachium (Long-Arm) species.

Anything it can catch with those claws. It is predatory.

Up to you, but I wouldn't keep it with anything I don't want eaten.

Chris,

If you don't know what the shrimp eats, how did you keep it for 8 months or are you making this story up (as I am assuming and logically deducting). According to what you have posted here so far you should be having more shrimp species than anyone else here combined (including myself).

I have read your posts so far and I have already told you before that you are posting stuff that leads me to believe that half of it is made up as in the following post which you never answered to:
