aquatic plant fertilizers

is there any harm fertilizing my water garden since i added the cherry shrimp,it says it not harmful to ornamental fish it contains iron an minerals

it's called (sera florena) it is a liquid.

I've never heard about that fertilizer, but I would be careful with any fertilizers. Some contain substances that are poisonous to shrimp.

my friends and i use dry ferts from http://www.gregwatson.com and we don't have any problems. i have about 60 cherries in one tank, and even more in another.

I use Kent Pro Culture. 10 drops per gallon. No effect on shrimp at that level, but I have no babies yet either. Sure got plants though.

I use this primarily to grow algae to feed daphnia.
