type of bulb for a shrimp tank ?

im using natural daylight but lfs seem to use plant grow bulbs is this better for my macro rosenbergi ? thx for any help i have a 55 gla tank the hood came with 2 natural daylight 18 inc t-8 15 watt bulbs the bulbs them self are natural sunshine by eclipse thx for anyhelp guys

I find that my prawn is most active without a direct light source. He perfers being in the dark. I don't bother using an aquarium light since I have no plants in the tank, and also that way I see him more often coming out of hiding doing his thing.
