Ghost shrimp need brackish water to breed?

Ghost shrimp need brackish water to breed?

I have a Ghost shrimp that has developing eggs in the "belly" under side and I was wondering if i will need Brackish water to "grow" them.

Babies will survive in freshwater. Just keep them in the same water condition as your current tank.

It depends on the species. (There are countless species that are called 'ghost shrimp'.) P. paludosus
breeds in freshwater. Most of the other species require brackish or sea water for the larvae to develop.
