Ahh...okay that makes the whole thing clearer, I suppose my shrimps are in the same color range, one of my shrimps are pretty pale tho, but I suppose its a male since its going around and feeding. So far I have yet to test my pH and am being a cheap a$$. I mean my logic is, the shrimps are still alive and they're eating and they're getting red again so they should be doing okay, especially if the littlest one can survive, which I take to be the weakest, then the big ones should be okay. However, they ship small ones because of their higher adaptiveness, or is that how you spell it. Anyways, I have guppies in it and guppies live around 6.8-8.0 water and so if they can survive then the shrimps should too.
Anyone know how much pH is rainwater? especially in Oakland CA...or a range?
