I'm sure he'll be fine. I got a bunch of shrimp from Mustafa awhile back, and the majority of them turned out to be females--I have 7 females, 3 males, and one slow-growing juvenile that I'm not sure about gender-wise. Even with the excess of females in the tank, all of my ladies are pregnant.
