I apologize IF I happen to be wrong about this. But from my end I am seeing two people using the same IP address and the same email addresses, and most of the time in a forum (about 99.9999% of the time) that means that it's the same person using two usernames. Add to it that it's extremely rare that your "significant other" is also interested in such a "weird" hobby as keeping shrimp (my wife still thinks it's somewhat strange to keep shrimp). So, I could just assume that the story about the girlfriend you told me does not make any sense as anyone could tell me any story over the internet and I would have no way of knowing if it's true. BUT...I am going to give it the benefit of the doubt and let the whole thing go (i.e. no banning). But I would be lying if I said that I won't be observing posts coming from zambat and raptor83 for a while.

Instead of getting all angry about it, taking things personally (remember, I don't even know you and hence can't really "personally" attack you...I'm just doing my job) and thinking that you did absolutely nothing wrong, I would look at my own behavior and wonder if it was the smartest idea at all to post with two usernames from the same IP address and share one of your email addresses with your girlfriend (I don't know anyone who shares email addresses with his wife/girlfriend by the way), so it looks like one person is using two different usernames. I have a lot of experience with "clowns" doing all kinds of "mischief" in a forum and THIS is one of the things these clowns do...creating different usernames online, usually one good and one evil...one funny one serious...etc...etc..it's not all that uncommon actually.

The reason I don't deal with these things over PM is because every time I warn someone about something, the "warning" is out there for everyone to read and serves as a sort of guideline about what to do and what not to do in this forum. Keeping a forum focused and not let it deteriorate is not an easy task and I have to do what's necessary to keep the forum going as I envisioned it when I started Petshrimp.com.

I hope I have made myself clear. Nothing further needs to be said about it. If you have the urge to say more, just PM me. Now let's get back to the topic of the thread and the topic of this forum -- shrimp!

According to the shrimp varieties page there doesn't seem to be anything that fits your request.
Red nose shrimp would do alright in the same water, but they have a normal breeding process. Cajun dwarf crayfish might be good for your tank though. However, they might freak out the cherries.
Caridina serratirostris and japonica could also both live in that tank but breeding them would be a pain. Macrobrachium cf. mirabile would live and breed just fine in your tank but they are hard to find and it is against the rules of this site for me to publicly tell you where to look.

Also, i know it sucks to get publicly called out like that by a forum moderator. Mustafa yelled at me a few months ago for not reading the varieties page enough. Overall though it is a good policy and it definitely gets people to actually watch what they do.

Green shrimp will be ok with cherry shrimp.....same water params, won't interbreed etc.

Hey!!!!!!! My GF and I are planning on starting a shrimp tank together I resent that statement Mustafa

As was suggested I would do Red Cherries and them alone. No other fish/shrimp.

I think we'll just stick with Red Cherry Shrimp for the moment - it seems like it will be the least stressful for them, and hopefully will lead to them breeding more. I am really looking forward to having little baby shrimp - so heres hoping... (fingers crossed)
