I buy them from my lfs in a long curled up strip....I don't have the packaging to read what's in it but as far as i'm aware there hasn't been lead in plant weights for quite some time.

I live in the UK so can't comment on any other plant weights purchased abroad.

Stuff imported does contain lead. Many plants come imported with lead weights. I alway strip them off and use the non-toxic ones.
