I've been breeding snails about 3 months less than shrimp. They work together as tank mates quite well. Even crayfish work as long as you raise the baby snals to pea size before putting them in with the crays.

It just takes a lot of tanks for each variety. Babies can all be togther, but once they get to about 3/4 of an inch, you need to separate them to what you want to breed. The combo of shell & foot color can give you a headache. Many of my crosses end up as turtle food.

Pinks & purples are what I'm breeding for now. Green is just the next color. I've got everything else but red. Red will appear soon I hope.
