Funny you should mention bn plecs chasing bamboo shrimp....I had that problem when Bob the bamboo shrimp was alive. I found the bn wouldn't bother him though unless he was on the substrate.

Do females bug shrimp too? I've only got males (that live in seperate tanks).

As far as I can tell, it is only the males that are the problem. They only seem to bother the larger shrimp. They won't share the area under the log with anything that might harm potential babies.
