Great! I am glad to hear that it went just as well for you as it did for me.
Honestly, though, I think the BGA is worse for shrimp than the Maracyn. In the BGA plague of '03 on my 75 gallon tank, I lost all of my amanos. In retrospect, I'm sure it was because the BGA smothered out all of the "normal" algae and since there were only a couple of fish in the tank at the time, I was feeding VERY sparingly to try to keep the nutrients down (which, by the way didn't work). The poor little buggers must've starved.
It is sad because up to that point they had seemed virtually indestructable.
