I know the ingredients for Stress Coat - they're sodium thiosulfate, EDTA, and an aloe extract, all of which wil be harmless for your shrimp. But, it won't do a THING for any residual ammonia.
It all comes down to chloramine. Where I live, we still don't use chloramine, so I use API's Tapa Water conditioner, which contains only sodium thio and EDTA - I don't need any aloe for the shrimp, and you get a LOT more bang for the buck with TWC - and my shrimp are fine even after very large water changes.

Thank you for the information. Do you use it with all of your shrimp?

UPDATE: I removed some plants i no longer wanted in my tank and added two sea sponges that have been in a fish tank for a few weeks and my shrimp went crazy for them. As soon as they hit the bottom, shrimp covered them and eat up all the yummy stuff. Anyways, I found a clutch of dropped eggs again on my substrate, i dont know where there from as i never could find that one shrimp again. I have about 40-60 shrimp ranging from adults to shrimplets and many look the same to me.
I plan on purchasing some Seachem Prime soon, along with a freshwater master test kit so i can know whats going on with my water quality.
