Alright guys...party is over! I'm back! :-D I'm glad you guys had fun telling stories to each other in the meantime, but let's all get back to shrimpy topics.

For everyone who wonders, no..I was not fighting giant macros on some tropical island (or wherever) , I was in Germany for about 11 days visiting family (yes, I am from Germany). Didn't really have time to get together with my "shrimp friends" but so be it...maybe next time. This visit was all about family. I appreciate the concern about my whereabouts, though. :D

I do plan on posting a lot less in the future to concentrate on my book, actual shrimp breeding (i.e. my future shrimp farm in California!!), and further articles both here and in aquarium magazines. I've been posting a lot in the last few years to get people up to speed as far as shrimp go, but it looks like many of you have learned a lot and have gathered some experiences of your own. Thus, you will be able to contribute to this forum in a meaningful way and help both peers and less experienced people. No need for me to give my 2 cents on *everything*.
So my posts will become less gradually in the future, but I will always be around to reply to especially difficult questions that nobody has an answer to. I would not mind sharing some of the administrative tasks of this forum with other people, either, so I might contact some of you in the future and ask you to be admins. No need to apply, I will contact you.

Alright..enough miscellaneous talk..let's continue with shrimp issues....

:o Great news! Please give us notice of when we can get these items. I am looking forward to reading them :D

Thanks.

Of course I'll let everyone know about future books and articles. YOu'll be the first ones to find out and if you guys want signed copies, of course we can arrange that. :) It will take a while to get the book out though as I would like to make the book as comprehensive as possible.

As for Germany...it actually wasn't as cold as NYC is now (it snowed yesterday)...it was unusually warm actually, most likely thanks to global warming.

I could use some global warming here in NY. It has been way below average for a month.
