Mary,

Was the photo taken from your dedicated Cherry tank, or from other community tanks?
Besides the Moss, do you use other types of plant in the same tank?

Sorry, I haven't been by here in a few days. That was taken in my "dedicated" cherry shrimp tank. However, there is a story behind the picture. I currently have two praecox (dwarf neon rainfowfish) fry in that tank. There were eggs in some duckweed and frogbit that I threw in there from my rainbowfish tank. The fry are about 1/2 an inch in size now, and have been munching on baby shrimp for weeks. I was surprised because they were REALLY small, but so are the shrimp I guess...

So I was looking for the bows that hide from me all of the time and I pulled the moss out of the tank to see them and the berried female had been hiding in it. She was going nuts, not only from me aiming the camera at her but the bows saw her and started following her like little shadows. It was pretty funny. The only reason I didn't feel sorry for her is that there is so much moss in there she buried herself in it once she got her bearings straight.

It's only a 5 gallon with java moss in it at the moment though I think I'm going to switch it out with a 10 gallon this weekend. I want to give those bow fry all of the room possible. They're really growing now, in part due to the wealth of live food I think...
