Excellent point. My tank was long established, and since I don't change water, the effect would be greatly magnified. I guess it may be time for me to set up a plant-free tank.

If any shrimp friends would list some poisonous plants here, if technically possible, I do hope that photos can be attached coz most dictionaries don't have plant names as specific as that. Thanks very much !

--Yes, try plant free. If you can't live without plants, then you can always add non-Cryptocoryne and non-Anubias plants later on.

http://www.google.com and type in any plant names you do not know. It will come up with hundreds of photos. Google is your friend as long as you know how to filter out all the nonsense that's included in search results.
