look what you've done shrimpboyLA! =P i think it's all your fault. haha jk.
i agree to what naomi says and i didn't even notice how mean his comment actually was to me. i guess at the time i was just feeling so horrible i didn't really care about much. i still come back here because i still have shrimps and there are still a lot that i need to learn and i have lots of questions to ask. i look for mustafa's knowledge, basically. i'm not going to leave the site(well, on my own will) because of some little thing and i hope nobody leaves as well. i think that if mustafa ease up a bit and instead of saying what he thinks are facts, he should just state that it's a great possibility from his experience and be open to other's opinion. also he should not to jump into conclusions and automatically blame someone for something. i do understand that he does not want his members to get any "false" information. ie. not getting what they're actually paying for.
this is the first time i actually READ what mustafa wrote to me. when i read it before, i think i tried to block off the negativity. i already "knew" how stupid i was... and did not want to hear it from other people. to think of it...
it was not my fault that he did not know how to ship. =/
i paid $50+ for shipping and assume he knew what he was doing. i was not being cheap at all. going through this site and talking to other shrimp hobbyist helped us both out. i hold no grudges...
naomi: you should stay, who else is going to comfort me? =P plus you're in sf, like me.
A VERY pragnant Miss Tiger

This thread is officially closed. When people feel like they need to post their personal rants (such as "Gnome" aka Naomi) in a Tiger Shrimp thread publicly, then the thread has lived out its life.
And of course anyone is free to register or leave. Some people can take the truth straight in the face...some can't. There are plenty of forums out there where one can become a pseudo-expert and even wrong information is greeted with "wow...thank you..I did not know that" and pseudo-experts can become real celebrities with followings if they are just nice enough to everyone.
Wheezo: I was not mean to you. I was *harsh*. There is a huge difference. Yes, I want people to learn from their mistakes even if they have to hate me for harshly pointing it out to them. Also, when I mention *facts*...they are facts...not just my personal observation. There are a couple of other people in some places outside this country, where this hobby is a lot bigger, who would tell you exactly the same thing. Due to lack of knowledge people have a million "opinions" here and it's not easy to tell them they are wrong if they keep insisting that they are right. I am not going to just say: "yes, maybe you are right" if I know for a fact that they are wrong. If someone cannot accept that, they are free to leave anytime they want.
And if someone cannot accept that I have spent more time and money than anyone else in this country keeping and raising and researching shrimp and thus *maybe* my opinion holds some water than l can't do anything about that.
As I said...this thread is closed...I have already wasted way too much time replying to senseless "you should do this and that" rant from people who just started gaining *some* knowledge about shrimp *thanks* to this website.
Oh yeah...I'm not going to hold anyone's hands...I want responsible, self-motivated people in this forum and in this hobby who will do their own research and ask intelligent questions *after* having done their research. People who insist that all of their questions should be answered here without them having to research anything are, again, at the wrong place and should not even be keeping any animals. The same applies to people who spread wrong information and insist that it's right as has happened in this thread.
Over and out.
