I've found they don't always hatch at once. It may take several days. They do seem to be hanging more loosely at times when they are close to hatching.

My concern was that they'd be eaten but, because of their exoskeleton, they are safe from the other shrimp.

My first few batches hid when they left the larva stage. With a lot of youngsters there now, I have seen very, very tiny shrimp. I wonder if being around other small ones make them feel safer, or if it's just coincidence.

Congrats! Keep in mind that the day you spotted them was most likely not the day she started carrying the eggs. :wink:
