@redhotshrimp - Thanks! yes the babies arrive quicker than I thought. Once I got the water parameters right, all I did was leave the tank alone and the shrimp started coloring up and doing well. There is a sponge filter in the tank but it's off. I don't turn it on. The only thing mechanical is the heater to keep the temp steady. And the greenness of the tank was just luck. The green algae just settled in by itself with 12 hours of light per day on a timer
