Yeah, and I've put off fish breeding projects to focus on my Singapore shrimp.
Crayfish sound like fun! If I started raising crays, my family would think I'd lost my mind! Why? Because my family are Italian/Cajuns! LMAO

Until you saw creole seasoning turning the tank water red, and the heater maxed...

LMAO!! I couldn't do that to something I cared for, but I wouldn't put it past my grandfather or anyone on his side of the family (they're all the Cajuns) to do something like that!

Hehe, I don't really think I have enough time either....It will probably just take a few nights of staying up till 3am to make sure I got everything done...

I'm already getting 4-5 hours of sleep at night with no naps during the day.

I don't really know how much sleep I get...I'm just tired all the time. Been chronicly ill for years. That is just one of many issues, but its possibly chronic fatigue syndrome...
I'm excited about the Amano, will have to do more reading etc on what I need.

Hey everyone...Sorry I haven't been here in a while, i'm on so many forums, and i've been busy recently that its hard to keep track of everything.
I've got so many little cherries running around...Only thing is, the large super red female seems to have vanished. I fear she has died

Maybe she is just good at hiding.

They get shy when they have eggs, so don't lose hope.

Hi John, How many do you think you have? I hope you find the super red female.

Thanks Badflash, I will keep looking.
Neonshrimp, I would say I can see 20 or 30 of them, if I scan the tank for a while.

Well, the tank is doing well, as far as I know. Lots of little baby shrimplets.
I still can't find the super red female...I think she died.
I still can't decide if i'm going to raise the Amano babys...Life has gotten busy lately. Thats why I haven't been here a whole lot lately, lots of stuff going on.
I do have a ten gallon brackish tank I could use....I'll have to think about it a bit more.

Thanks for the update John, always good to read about your progress

It's great that the tank is going well. I hope some of your babies are super reds

Hope things work out for you.

My guess is that she just isn't super red any more. They are variable according to mood, health and their pperiod in the egg cycle. They can go from drab to fire cracker red in the span of a few days.
