Thanks guys.
amber, stop drooling over the hairgrass!

We have to figure out a time when I can get some (and some snails!) to you.
ben, your tank will look great once everything grows in! And you should see the early days for my tank -- I went through a bout of greenwater so bad you couldn't see into the tank at all. Yech.
filishy, yup, I post over at plantedtank (so you probably
have seen the greenwater pics

). And thanks! I think this tank looks healthy, but it doesn't really have any form. That big crypt at the front really should move out of there, but I don't want to mess with the plants while they've got baby shrimp living in them. Oh well...

Amanda,
Yes I did see those pics but still, you do have an exceptional knack for planted aquaria, congratulations.
BTW, how's your cat doing? I am not very much a cat person but that pic of your cat sleeping on top of the tank was just precious...
I know you have posted this more than once but... what camera do you use? Any techniques you care to share? I very much would like to be able to take pics as crisp as yours, especially soon, when I'll be starting a reef tank (

... like I didn't have enough on my plate already...).
Thanks!
Maria.

I will be going to AW on Friday, need to get some chemicals for the water; running low. Will get the Hikari Crab Bites then too ... not sure what time though, how far are you from there?

Not too far. Just on the other side of the Burrard bridge, a bit before Broadway.
What time are you thinking of going?

I think it would probably be in the morning.

Hmm. I'm working Friday, but it's just a couple blocks from my apartment. I might be able to run home for a few minutes...

Hey thanks scrimp. If you go
here you can see the set-up from start to finish, including a rundown of all the equipment and plants. And you'll get to see that awesome greenwater!

Tell me how does this tank react with all the shrimp in it are they breeding like crazy? And all the plants you have listed are they easy to find? I tried to search for some of them but all I get is personal peps websites..I need to find a good plant seller in the US..or make another trip to BC...hopefully I wont have to go back there till this spring.

3 little cherries sitting in a tree... K-I-S-S-I-N-G
i moved things around a bit in the tank and what were some very introverted cherries have decided to come out to play. I'm seeing them more and more all the time.

Serious mine have gone into hiding and I found one has jumped out. I need to figure out why they are acting so weird.
