Picture of the berried tiger female before I got her removed from the CRS tank.

It seems that I did not seperate the tiger shrims from the Crystal red shrimps in time. As a result of this it is now clear that the youngsters were infact hybrids. Hope you agree since some 'crs white' is visible.

Is it possible that the Tiger shrimps cross bred with New bee shrimps ( also present in the aquarium at that time)?

Will these hybrids have young or will they be completely sterile?

What I meant was to ask gabs what he meant by "new bee" shrimp. I know it is just mostly Bumble Bee shrimps, but I was hoping gabs will clarify that a little bit by showing some of his pictures of his "new bee" shrimps.

Never happened to me. I'm keeping Bumble bee and Crystal red shrimps together. Both shrimps are breeding but have never cross bred.

That was not the case Shrimp&Snails. The tiger shrimp is doing very well and has given birth to other shrimplets recently. Maybe the back light made her body show white.

Did a search on this forum for the term New bee. You were right badflash, loads and loads of s**t was the result for the search

I did not do an adaquete search before referring to my Bumble bees with a white head as New bees. Hope this does not get me banned. My apologies.

I'm not picky about that stuff, but it is a distraction and makes it appear these are something that they aren't. Take the poor bamboo shrimp. It has at least 10 different names and no one know what to search for.

I'll post pictures of the new tiger fry asap. Getting decents shots in a 100L planted tank is not that easy and they are too small to join the other adult shrimps during feeding time.
