The 1st set of eggs was a bust, but shortly after her sister had a berry. Last night she started shaking them off and showing interest in the male. He's in the wrong phase and doesn't want anything to do with her.
I've seen 5 babies in the tank, so I'm sure there are more. I just hope they are survivors.
Here is a grainy pic. It is at the limit of my camera's capability.
They blend right in with my gravel.

Congrats
on the little ones.
With the tail full of eggs she had I am sure you will be over run with little Crays.

Not over run, but I did find one baby from the 1st berry and at least 7 from the 2nd. Here is the one from the 1st hatch. He's nearly 1/2 inch long already. Don't know where he was hiding...

That is mom in the lower right. She's crammed into a 6" pot cut in half.

I pulled 14 babies out of the adult tank today. Looks like they are all doing pretty well.

Are they still alive and growing? These guys can grow incredibly quickly given enough food and good water.

Out of the 15 I fished out, I sold six, I have one, and the rest died in a failed water experiment. Live & learn.
I'm expecting another berry as the adults have been mating.

I will, but she is being very shy. This is a lucky day besides. When I was cleaning out the sump, whiiich I have not done for months, I find a small white male! he must have gone through the screen when he was a hatchling. He looks great!
