kyle0901 wrote: Wed May 09, 2018 4:58 pm Hi Flipper, Thank you for your help in my posts. Your green rock looks really good, I wish I can have one inthe end and catch up with your progress. Do you know the perfect salinity for supershrimps? I keep mine at between 1.008-1.01.

Mustafa said he will be adding my region soon, And I will post photos when I get my tank set up as well.
Hi there! You are so welcome for the advice. I'm a beginner, but I have done A LOT of research
My salinity was measuring right around 1.014, but Mustafa said not to worry about it. 1.008 is on the low spectrum of what they can handle and 1.014 is on the upper level. So neither one of us is perfect!! :smt005

Alrighty!! It's been about a month. I have not fed the shrimp and they are very happy. They enjoy dancing around the tank and grazing. The macroalgae has not grown, but my shrimp like it anyways.

They spend much of their day on the lava rock and walking upside down, using the water as traction.

Update 30/July
I have a berried shrimp!! I’m super excited. Another female has eggs visible inside. My pictures are pretty blurry, but I’ll hopefully capture better ones soon!

I’m gonna answer your question from your other thread in here. Congrats on the berried shrimp! First time mothers to be are learning how to carry the eggs. Don’t get discouraged if they drop before hatching. I had a few who dropped all their eggs and some that carried like 10 eggs and others who carried like 20 eggs. Lol. Yes it is normal for her to be fluffing and rotating the eggs around. And just sit back and enjoy. It’ll be like 50 days or so before they hatch
