Although you can keep dwarf shrimp with dwarf crayfish in large tanks with lots of hiding spaces, the shrimp always feel stressed out in such tanks as the crays are quite aggressive towards anything that "lands" right in front of them...such as shrimp.
2. Never take out all of the Najas plants out all at one time like Mustafa and everyone has stated.


Yes, that's a big mistake. You have to reduce the plants little by little. Every few days take a little clump out. This way the nitrifying bacteria will have time to grow and take care of the ammonia.
