Yup, Ken, these are in the bookshelf tank.

There are tiny shrimp in this tank as well as the "old" ten gallon tank. No pics yet, will carry my cell with me and get a shot or two ASAP.

I think the berried female I transferred to the "accepted set up" dropped her eggs. I see a light colored shrimp (which describes her well) in it with no eggs attached. I'm still a bit disappointed in this tank. I occasionally see a shrimp or two in it, (remember there's nearly 25), but never more than that. The chaedo continues to grow, the MTS are fine and grazing, the majority of opae ula either hiding or worse.

Finally some good news in the un-everything tank...

There's at least 10 newly "hatched" Opae Ula larvae. Guess the mother didn't drop her eggs after all!

With the crabs you have that have coralline algae on the shells, is the algae still alive in brackish water? Reason I am asking is that I have all green algae rocks in my nano-tank, and I noticed this week that there is purple algae growing on a few of them.

Rob looking back at your older posts the berried female was loaded with eggs. It would seem that all these larvae are from her as opposed to two other unseen berried shrimp. You transferred her on march 19 and she released them on April 24/25. This works out well with the Opae holding eggs between 30-38 days.

Yes, that's what I've been thinking, Ken. It had been weeks (the pic earlier in this thread) since I last saw her.

Opae ula are great at hiding. It helps that the lava rock is about the same color as most of the shrimp, it seems!

Aside from the larvae I still only see three opae in this tank...

Rob I have to thank you for the Opae Viagra. One of my other tanks that has been stubbornly barren has a berried shrimp. She has as many eggs as the one in your 'accepted' tank had. I guess reading you posts to them has done the trick.
