Yeah, I can't wait till they hatch! i'm about seperate the mom into a seperate container with some Java moss.

I grinded up algae wafers, and am dissolving it in a bottle of water. I don't know if that will work for food...

If you are grinding those algae wafers for a micro food, make sure to do it fresh each day. If you store that algae wafer water for very long, it will go bad and could become toxic to your shrimp.

Good advice.
No need to disolve it in water. Just sprinkle a pinch on the surface- a small pinch.

It was pretty late, so I decided to wait till the morning to move the female...It was too late, they already hatched. I don't see any young, so i'm guessing they were all eating, or they escaped into the main tank, i'm sure they were small enough to fit through the grating.

I guess I just have to hope that they are hidden somewhere in the Java Moss.

Dont worry about the babies.
Even if they were not eaten, They are Hardto find.
Give them a few days, and do alot of staring.

You will see them, and after a few hatch outs.
You will be able to spot them alot easier.
It just takes practice.

Neonshrimp, currently I am keeping them in multiple breeding traps inside a puffer tank. Its a little cramped for them I will admit...although they will be moving to the 10 gallon quite soon--its almost ready. I just couldnt resist buying them My guess is the ghosts would apreciate being in too small of a space for a few days, then being a feeder lol

Although one of the ghosts escaped, the puffer doesnt even bother the ghost. He is just a dwarf puffer, he doesnt really try to eat shrimp. I am probably going to put amanos in with him. i'll see how the ghost does though. Since crusteacians and moluscs are their natural diet.... Although dwarves seem to only attack very tiny shrimp, or if the puffer is starving.

FWIW, I've kept multiple ghost shrimp with a dwarf puffer for 6+ months now and he's never seemed the slightest bit interested in them. And it's not that he doesn't see them, he certainly does. Just isn't interested in them as food. Note that not all the ghosts were even full size; I've had ones as small as about a half inch in there and he's ignored them entirely.

However, puffers have a reputation for having very individual personalities. Others here have introduced ghost shrimp into DP tanks and seen the shrimps shredded within seconds. YMMV.

Yeah, thats why I like them so much. They interact with you so much.

So far, this dwarf (His name is Shinobi. Hehe, incase you haven't noticed, I like ninjas. ) hasn't bothered the ghost at all, infact he examined and watched the ghost for a while, then continued on his way. It would be really cool if he was ok with cherrie shrimp being in the tank.

I even got lucky, and my SW puffer doesn't bother my corals or macro algae

Good news!

As some of you might have figured out, me and NewJohn are nearly neighbors! He also had some extra cherries, and so i've got about 20 or 25 cherries acclimating right now

Many of them are egg bearing as well

I also couldnt resist picking up 3 amanos
