I found 2 new additions today! I'm giving their tank a water change today, so I'll be looking for more. My experienced gal is still carrying a full load of eggs that are a nice yellowish color. So any day now! There's another gal that has a fullload that started carrying about a day or two ago. Hopefully, she's caught a clue by now. There is at least one gal that's still carrying just a few eggs.

Awww, they just grow up so quickly Congratulations and take good care of them.

I have a bit of a problem, I was checking for more shrimplets, and I see what look like either brown or red shrimplets in my tank! Should I seperate them into another tank to grow them out to see what they are?

I'd wait until they are a little bigger, then it will be easier to get them all.

I was just going to use a turkey baster and move them to the tank that's under the tank their in. I have to get into the tank tonight any way to clean it, and I know I'll forget later. But, I'll wait because I am tired.

Wait until the new tank is really ready. There is no hurry if these are babies. Your snowballs probably bred before you got them and these will be wild or red shrimp. They could be very interesting.

zapisto and I would like to start raising some incredible looking snowballs also

I think she has had these for about 3 months so I think they breed after they arrived if these are new babies. So what is the case ARB?

Interesting, my wild zhangjiajiensis have also produced some red juvies. Not all though, some are mostly transparent so far. They do seem to grow quite quickly, and a third female is berried. The other two have already finished carrying, and there are 2 different sizes of young in the tank. Several of the adult females are a very solid red color, while the males are brown or transparent with some red markings. I'd say it's likely that the snowballs are producing some wild-color offspring.

I've had these shrimp for about 3 months (wow, it's been that long already), so there's no way these are a hybrid.

I wasn't able to get into the tank last, because I was simply too tired. I do have an empty 10 gallon that's up and running I can move these shrimp into.
