ich on fish, salt OK for shrimp?

Is one teaspoon of table salt OK for cherry shrimp? I've done it with amanos with no bad results.

One teaspoon per what? Per gallon? per 10 gallon? The Red Cherries will be fine with either amount. They will also be ok with "quickcure" if you want to use that to eliminate the ick, since it does not contain copper.
