Hi Mustafa and All!
Here is one of the shrimps I got from a wholesaler (I ordered Japonica shrimps). I tried to identify it using the "shrimp varieties" page. The closest is probably Sri Lanka Dwarf Shrimp.
What is your opinion?

Hi Oleg!
No, this does not look like the Sri Lanka dwarfs. There are many shrimp species out there that the have the general body shape of the Sri Lanka dwarfs (bent "back"), but most of them produce salt water larvae whereas the Sri Lanka dwarfs reproduce in freshwater. Plus, the Sri Lanka dwarfs are not really traded anywhere commercially. There are similar looking shrimp that are imported from India or southeast asia once in a while, but they are not the same species.
Did you just get one shrimp or several? If you have males and females you can wait and see how large the eggs are.

I have about 12. I can tell females as they have those spots on the back near the head - same as red cherry females. But no eggs yet.

Please do me a favor and post some pictures of the females once they start carrying eggs. It's usually easy to tell by egg size if the animals can be bred in freshwater or not.

Non of them are carring eggs yet. And 3 of them died

Amanos and Cherries feel fine in the same tank - Amanos are carring eggs and Cherries are breeding.

I have just tested the reply notification featuere and it works just fine. You might want to check your spam folder to see if anything arrived there. For further followup just email me since this is totally off topic here. Thanks for letting me know, though.
