Tiger Shrimp Breeding

Hi all..
First of all i would like to say how impressed I was when I came across this site, so a huge pat on the back to whoever built it
I'm very much a newbie to shrimp keeping, and have fallen in love with these little guys and would like to have a go @ breeding them.
I got my first 2 tigers 3 months ago and added them to my 30g guppy breeding tank. They seemed happy in there and with the PH @ about 6.8 they seemed to settle very quickly. After reading info on this site I felt it best they have their own pad
So I bought them a new 10g with the intention of getting a few more and trying to breed them. With the tank all ready for them, I set about the delicate task of removing them from their other home, only took a few minutes so was suprised at that
While they lived in the 30g I noticed they nearly aleays hung out together on the back of the Co2 Bubble duffuser(looks like a ladder) I put this down to the fact they were safe there from the fish as only the tiny babies could get round. While catching the shrimp I had to remove the Co2 ladder and was shocked to see what looked like strings off eggs on the back
The only snails I have in that tank are Malaysian trumpet snails and they have live young so its not them. And there is nothing else in that aquarium that would lay eggs
.. I was under the impression that shrimps carried the eggs under their tail so am not sure what to make of it. And another thing I noticed while watching one of the shrimp before catching it was it had someing very tiny and shrimp like under its tail
You're all probably sat there laughing your heads off at my stupidity..lol
So I would appreciate it if some one could shed some light on the breeding of these little guys, and is what I have on the back of my ladder eggs. or larva
Nikki
